Rozites caperata
Rozites caperata (Fr.) P. Karst.

This agaric is widespread in the Northern Hemisphere under conifers and Fagaceae. It has not been found in the Neotropics (but perhaps in montane Mexico?). Rather, Rozites colombiana with lilac colored lamellae is known to occur in montane Costa Rica and Colombia associated with oaks.
