What
are the important tools both scientists and students carry with
them everywhere they go? Their senses of course! While traversing
different areas of the garden, students participate in activities
designed to enhance their sensory awareness. Using their eyes,
noses, ears and fingers, they deepen their observational skills
and experience different aspects of nature up close. This tour
is easily adapted for different learning styles and needs. |

What are the parts of a tree? What kinds of creatures call trees
their home? Discover the answers to these questions and many
more as your class explores trees on the Garden grounds or in
the Forest. Search for evidence of the many different animals
that live in, on, or under treeses, and learn some ways to tell
