The Garden offers a wide range of classes and activities for children, toddlers to teenagers in the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden and the Everett Children's Adventure Garden.  Every day a variety of free programs (nature and gardening activities) are offered to children and families on a drop-in basis.  Additionally, the Children's Gardening Program, requiring pre-registration, is offered in spring, summer, and fall.  Every year thousands of school children visit the Garden to tour the grounds and participate in classes about plant sciences and gardening.
