Everett Children's Adventure Garden

The Garden has always been committed to educating the public about the beauty, science, and importance of plants.  The Garden offers the nation's largest continuing education program in gardening and plant studies.  More than 3,000 adults participate in over 750 programs each year, ranging from courses in gardening, landscaping, horticultural therapy, and commercial horticulture, to botanical art, floral design, and botany.

The Garden offers a wide range of classes and activities for children, toddlers to teenagers in the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden and the Everett Children's Adventure GardenEvery day a variety of free programs (nature and gardening activities) are offered to children and families on a drop-in basis.  Additionally, the Children's Gardening Program, requiring pre-registration, is offered in spring, summer, and fall.  Every year thousands of school children visit the Garden to tour the grounds and participate in classes about plant sciences and gardening.
