Session 1: Initiating a School Garden
Session 1 serves as an introduction to the processes and skills necessary to establish a school garden. School garden practitioners must evaluate their campuses to create gardens that are safe, accessible, functional, practical, and provide an environment that will support teaching and learning.
See below for resources to help you design and build a school garden that is right for you. Materials include tip sheets, teacher exercises, and lesson plans that support your curriculum.
