Family Picnic

Tuesday June 12, 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Rain or shine!

The 19th Annual Family Picnic will kick off summer at The New York Botanical Garden on June 12, 2012. The Family Picnic is one of the best children’s parties in New York. Year after year, hundreds of adults and children come together to enjoy a fun-filled day in support of the Garden’s essential education programs.

The Picnic introduces families to the award winning Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, a 12-acre indoor/outdoor living museum of nature discovery. Guests engage in hands-on fun as they learn about science and experience the natural world. Tree climbing, face painting, leaf pressing, bird watching, storytelling, and other activities are offered, and guests also enjoy a delicious picnic supper on the lawns of the Garden throughout the evening.
