Fiesta de Flores at The New York Botanical Garden

On September 19, 2012, celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Fiesta de Flores, a festival at the Botanical Garden commemorating the people of Latin America and the Caribbean. Enjoy the splendor of the Garden while being treated to live music, dancing, food and wine tastings, and much more. Take a tour of the award-winning Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden. Surround yourself with fragrance, color, and beauty. Originally designed in 1916, completed in 1988, and beautifully renovated in 2006-2007, this stunning garden now displays more than 4,300 rose plants in over 690 varieties, with roses blooming for six months out of the year.
