Profile

Deanna Curtis assists with the management and development of the historic hardy tree and shrub collections throughout the Garden. She maintains inventories, evaluates, and facilitates the stewardship of all woody plants in the gardens and collections including the Azalea Garden, Benenson Ornamental Conifers, and Ross Conifer Arboretum. She holds degrees in Horticulture from Michigan State University and from Cornell University in Horticulture and Landscape Architecture with an emphasis on urban horticulture. Deanna is a Certified Arborist and a co-author with Nina Bassuk of Recommended Urban Trees: Site Assessment and Tree Selection for Stress Tolerance.

Tuesday - Sunday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Closed most Mondays, Thanksgiving & Christmas Day.
