What's Beautiful Now: Flowering Trees and Shrubs

See what's happening at the Garden today!

Spring brings a profusion of frothy tree blossoms to the Garden's 250-acres in April and May.

Magnolia Way is naturally dominated by these fragrant Southern charmers, cherry trees and lilacs cover the hillsides overlooking the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden, and a stunning collection of the most beautiful crabapples blanket the slope near Daffodil Hill. But most exciting for spring 2011 will be the incredible, dramatic beauty of the new 11-acre Azalea Garden with its incredible profusion of pinks, lavenders, and whites and a stellar vista overlooking the 50-acre Forest and the Bronx River.
