Tulips

Late April to early May - Actual bloom time may vary

From late April to early May, more than 25,000 tulips flower all at once along Seasonal Walk and across Garden grounds.

At the Garden in mid spring, everything's coming up tulips. In total, there are nearly 50,000 to see this year! Breathtaking is the only word for the huge sweeps of long-stemmed, late-flowering tulips that grace Seasonal Walk. From late April to early May, more than 25,000 of them flower all at once along this double border. Among the masses are pale yellow waves of 'Sancerre', vibrant pink 'Dreamland', and ribbons of creamy-white 'City of Vancouver'.

Another tulip hot-spot is the Home Gardening Center's Cutting Garden, which features 19 varieties in all shades of pink, purple, white, and blue and shape classifications such as lily, double, fringed, and parrot. For a full tulip tour, also visit the Children's Adventure Garden, Perennial Garden, Rock Garden, and Herb Garden.
