Eat, Drink, and Do Good
Life's little indulgences come with a side of ''doing good'' at the Garden's Cafes.
There's nothing more delightful than coming inside to a cup or bowl of something warm, comforting, and delicious after an invigorating winter outing.
During winter, the two Cafes at The New York Botanical Garden go all out, concocting cheery culinary delights to warm the hearts of young and old alike, including hot chocolate, seasonal beers, and steaming soups and stews.
And you can do good while indulging at the Garden's two Cafes as well. Both the Garden Cafe and the Leon Levy Visitor Center Cafe feature delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches with a commitment to seasonal, local food served in a sustainable manner. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are always available.
And after exploring the Caribbean Garden, we're sure you'll be in the mood for a taste of the islands. The Garden Cafe, picturesquely situated near the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, where the Caribbean Garden is housed, will be offering a selection of Caribbean-inspired fare alongside their usual offerings of hot entrées, grilled paninis, a daily quesadilla, and other items from the grill.
So, after snapping pictures in the Conservatory, taking a family vacation without ever leaving New York, and after exploring the Garden in winter, take a moment to sit back, relax and marvel at just how much fun you had with a delightful tart, a locally brewed beer, or a cup of steaming hot chocolate. A day at The New York Botanical Garden is so much more than just another day in the City, it's a complete adventure for the whole family.
