I just saw the report on NY1 about the damage that occurred in the Garden. I know it is heartbreaking but some good can come from the downed trees. I am an Earth Science Teacher in NYC. Science teachers could use tree cookies to teach about climate and weather changes. Project Learning Tree (www.plt.org) may be able to help distribute the tree cookies to classrooms. I live in the Bronx and would gladly come and get a class set of tree cookies for my classroom. The average class size is 34 kids in High School. Please contact me.

Many Thanks
