Profile
Since the 1960s my interests have been in the plants of tropical America, primarily Mexico, Panama, and now Bolivia. At the same time, in these and most of the other countries of tropical America, I have been concentrating on the Solanaceae (potato, tomato, tobacco, petunia) and Cucurbitaceae (squash, pumpkin, melon, cucumber) families.
