Better yet, we’re the Grand Prize Partner this week! If you missed out on any of our recent evening activities, such as Sunday’s Family Dinner with Mario Batali’s Chefs<\/a> or our last Wild Medicine<\/em> Cocktail Evening<\/a>, this is your chance to laugh all the way to the bank with free trips to our upcoming events. Pair that with tickets to one of our Halloween adventures in October, and you’re staring down a prize worth $600! Considering you could easily enter this contest while lying on your couch, the cost\/benefit tally is definitely leaning in your favor.<\/p>\n

Being the weekly grand prize partner has its perks, too\u2014you don’t have to wait until the end of the week to enter, for one. You can enter up to three times a day from now through Friday, August 2, to give yourself the best possible chance of taking home the reward. And because each entry also puts you in the running for the daily prizes offered by ConEd’s other partners, there are plenty of chances to land some winnings. All told, the contest is offering 36 prizes in total and runs until August 23!

\nGetting your name in the hat is simple: each day, visit ConEd’s app on Facebook to answer a trivia question<\/a>. Right or wrong, you’ll be entered to win\u2014both for that day’s prize and our end-of-week grand prize. But if you give the right <\/em>answer, you’ll automatically be entered a second time. And by sharing the contest on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest or email, you’ll be given a third<\/em> entry for the day. It’s basically like hedging your lottery bets without having to spend all that money on slips of paper.<\/p>\n

The contest is open 24 hours a day, five days a week, so don’t worry about waiting for some sliver of a window to enter; just remember to do it each day! Of course, ConEd will be tossing out reminders on their Twitter account<\/a> if you need alerts.<\/p>\n\"Plug<\/a>\n

The NYBG<\/a>‘s prize winner will take home four tickets to our August 11 Family Dinner with Mario Batali’s Chefs<\/a>, featuring Chef Anthony Sasso of Casa Mono<\/a> and Chef Andy Nusser of Tarry Lodge<\/a>. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get four tickets to our next Wild Medicine<\/em> Cocktail Evening & Summer Concert<\/a> on August 15, granting you a complimentary cocktail, an after-dark walk around our exhibition display in the Conservatory<\/a>, a night of music with a live Italian string quartet, and discounts on dinner at nearby Arthur Avenue restaurants. And I’m not done: the lucky winner will also<\/em> receive tickets to come back in October for one of our Spooky Nighttime Adventures, joining us in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden<\/a> for some trick-or-treat fun with the kids.<\/p>\n
