And one of those rare occasions is this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>When you enroll in <a href=\"http:\/\/conted.nybg.org:8080\/WebModule\/jsp\/ed2df.jsp?df1=slayout:142GAR901C&amp;df7=TBD\" target=\"_blank\">this Saturday&#8217;s Recreational Tree Climbing class<\/a>, you&#8217;ll learn to climb the Garden&#8217;s stately trees like our arborists do\u2014with ropes and harnesses\u2014and you&#8217;ll have the chance to see the Bronx from an angle that is usually reserved for our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nybg.org\/blogs\/plant-talk\/2013\/08\/wildlife\/birds-of-prey\/\">resident raptors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is a once in a lifetime chance for all tree-loving daredevils! The class is taught by the Garden&#8217;s professional arborists, who are all graduates of NYBG&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nybg.org\/blogs\/plant-talk\/2010\/11\/garden-programming\/lessons-from-the-tree-tops\/\">storied<\/a> arboriculture program.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Tree climbing is a fun new challenge for anyone who loves rock climbing, and is a great way for naturalists, hunters, and sportsmen to expand their hobbies.
