\"weekender4\"<\/a>Like all good things, even the Holiday Train Show<\/em><\/a> must come to an end, and this Sunday is your last chance to see this wonderful family exhibition until November comes around again. But that doesn’t mean the train fun is done! All Aboard with Thomas & Friends <\/em><\/a>continues its run in the Ross Hall for several more weeks.<\/p>\n

In addition, we have a few tours planned\u2014including the always popular Saturday Bird Walk\u2014to help you stretch your legs after hibernating during this week’s cold snap. And if your little ones have a serious case of cabin fever, bring them along for the last weekend of holiday family fun in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden<\/a>!<\/p>\n

So what’s next on our agenda? Starting January 18, take a trip to the tropics<\/a> without leaving New York! That’s right, Tropical Paradise<\/em><\/a> returns, along with the very popular Tropical Paradise\u00a0<\/em>Photography Contest<\/a>. So grab your dusty old SLR and brush up on your techniques while you take in the last weekend of everyone’s favorite holiday event!<\/p>\n

Join Thomas and Driver Sam on a new fun-filled, sing-along, mini-performance adventure by helping them decorate the station in time for the big Sodor surprise party before the guest of honor arrives! Bring your camera to have a photo-op with Thomas and capture the special day!

The diverse habitats of the Botanical Garden offer visitors a chance to see dozens of species of birds throughout the year. Bring your binoculars and walk the Garden grounds with an expert to learn about bird-friendly habitats, migrating species, and birds that make a permanent home at the Garden.<\/p>\n

With the deciduous trees now stripped of their leaves, explore the many colorful winter berries found throughout the Garden and marvel at the sculptural forms of trees and tree bark.<\/p>\n

Holiday Adventures in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden<\/b><\/p>\n

The Holiday Train Show\u00ae continues in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, where kids can embark on a journey through a variety of activity train station stops, including an artist’s station, an engineer’s station, and a builder’s station, as well as an educational display of Holiday Train Show\u00ae houses. Each weekend brings even more fun with Holiday Parades and Ralph Lee’s Artist Station, a craft studio for families featuring train landscapes and materials kids can use to create their own trains, people, and animals to inhabit the scene!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
