What look like enormous flower arrangements are in fact one continuous plant, delicately trained along a specially designed trellis by our trained horticulture staff, who spent 11 months on the task.<\/p>\n<p><em>Taiko<\/em> drumming, ikebana demonstrations, and a <a title=\"Japanese Pop-Up Restaurant Kiku\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nybg.org\/exhibitions\/2014\/kiku\/popup-restaurant.php\">Japanese pop-up restaurant<\/a> in the Pine Tree Caf\u00e9 will all round out the rich cultural experience of <em>Kiku<\/em>.
