\"NYBG<\/a>Here’s to a happy Thanksgiving! As you tuck in to a hearty feast and a well-earned holiday, consider bringing your loved ones for some quality time at the Garden. NYBG will be open November 28, 29, and 30 with a full schedule of seasonal tours and special programs<\/a> surrounding our 23rd annual Holiday Train Show<\/em><\/a>\u00ae\u2014including live a cappella singing and screenings of holiday- and train-themed films. Spend the day after Thanksgiving at NYBG and explore the grounds in all their winter splendor with two one-day-only tours. The Fruit & Berry Tree Tour<\/a> will highlight the many beautiful berries of the season, and our Winter Tree Tour<\/a> is best way to take in NYBG’s winter wonderland of conifers and more. For anyone on grounds today to enjoy the city’s first snowfall of the season, our film screening will feature Union Pacific<\/em> (1939) in Ross Hall.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget, there are still eight Bar Car Nights<\/a> left this season! Last weekend’s kick-off was a great success, so get your tickets now<\/a> before they sell out.<\/p>\n

Bird Walk \u2013 11 a.m.<\/strong>
\nMeet at the Reflecting Pool at the Leon Levy Visitor Center<\/em>
\nThe diverse habitats of the Botanical Garden offer visitors a chance to see dozens of species of birds throughout the year. Bring your binoculars and walk the Garden grounds with an expert to learn about bird-friendly habitats, migrating species, and birds that make a permanent home at the Garden.<\/p>\n

Winter Wonderland Tree Tour \u2013 12:30 p.m.<\/strong>
\nMeet at the Reflecting Pool at the Leon Levy Visitor Center<\/em>
\nEven in cold weather there\u2019s plenty of interest in our gardens and collections. Meet at the Reflecting Pool and embark on an invigorating 45-minute walk to view the Garden\u2019s stately conifer collection and old growth Forest amid the beauty of winter.<\/p>\n

Holiday A Cappella \u2013 1:30 & 3:30 p.m.<\/strong>
