\"Antique<\/a>The Antique Garden Furniture Fair<\/a> opened last night with the annual Benefit Preview Party & Collectors’ Plant Sale, an elegant evening for admiring beautiful pieces for the home and garden while enjoying fine cocktails. Connoisseurs of the arts, or simple garden enthusiasts, can enjoy a similar soiree this Saturday at our all new Young Collectors’ Night<\/a>. Tickets are available now, and entitle guests to a complimentary glass of champagne!<\/p>\n

The Fair is open to All-Garden Pass<\/em> ticket-holders throughout the weekend, so come admire the antiques on display after enjoying a brisk spring walk through the pink and white petals cascading from our flowering trees. The flowering cherries<\/a> have joined the magnolias<\/a> on grounds to brilliant effect, and this weekend is the best time to take in this dramatic phase of the spring season.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>In the Conservatory Tent<\/em>
\nLong held as the country\u2019s most renowned stage for authentic garden antiques and rarities, the Antique Garden Furniture Fair<\/a> returns to The New York Botanical Garden with an expansive collection of ornament, decorative art, and timeless furniture for the home and garden. More than 30 established exhibitors display centuries of classic design inspiration gathered from across the United States and Europe. New this year, enjoy afternoon tea with an accompanying string quartet followed by a special Saturday evening gathering for young collectors of garden art and antiques.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Meet by the Reflecting Pool<\/em>
\nBring your binoculars and tour the grounds with a National Audubon Society member to encounter and learn about the birds that call the Garden home.<\/p>\n

\nJoin us for on a guided tour of this historically significant structure. Learn about how it complements our magnificent landscape and discover how this space is used to promote and advocate for the plant kingdom.<\/p>\n

Young Collectors’ Evening – 6 p.m.\u20138 p.m.<\/strong>
\nIn the Conservatory Tent
\n<\/em>Peruse the Fair’s offerings after hours with a complimentary glass of champagne, joining guided walks throughout the night to help you discover the perfect accents for your home and garden. \nPlants and imaginations grow at the Howell Family Garden<\/a>, where kids are allowed!\u2014no, encouraged!\u2014to play in the dirt. Display gardens, such as the Global Gardens and the Bean Tunnel or Salad Bowl, and daily interactive gardening activities delight and inspire.
