\"Peggy<\/a>Sunday happens to be the day that we show Dad how much we care, but NYBG’s starting things early with a Saturday night event! Tickets are still available for the Canciones de mi Padre<\/em> (Songs of My Father) Concert on Saturday, June 20. This evening concert features The Villalobos Brothers<\/strong> and Humberto Flores<\/strong>, as well as Mexican soprano Gizel Xanath<\/strong>. La Casa Azul Taco Truck will be open, or you can enjoy the perfect Frida al Fresco evening by making a reservation<\/a> at Hudson Garden Grill<\/a> (final reservations at 5:45 p.m. unless otherwise noted) for a full-service dining experience in our newly opened restaurant. Each Frida al Fresco ticket includes a complimentary Modelo Especial draft cerveza<\/em> or Jose Cuervo Tradicional margarita!<\/p>\n

The Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden<\/a> will have plenty of seasonal family activities, from Dig! Plant! Grow! to cooking demonstrations at the Whole Foods Market\u00ae<\/sup> Family Garden Kitchen<\/a>. So, whenever you plan to start celebrating your Father’s Day Weekend, we’ll have something going to make it special.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Meet at the Reflecting Pool at the Leon Levy Visitor Center.
\n<\/em>The diverse habitats of the Botanical Garden offer visitors a chance to see dozens of species of birds throughout the year. Bring your binoculars and walk the Garden grounds with an expert to learn about bird-friendly habitats, migrating species, and birds that make a permanent home at the Garden.<\/p>\n

Rose Garden Tour – 12:30 & 2:30 p.m.
\n<\/strong>Meet at the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden.<\/em>
\nImmerse yourself in the fragrance, color, and beauty of the award-winning Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden<\/a> on a tour with a Garden Tour Guide. Learn the differences between Heritage and Modern roses and between floribundas and hybrid teas as well as facts about rose history, cultivation, and folklore.<\/p>\n
