Bring the kids to enjoy a warm summer evening with outdoor dining in the green oasis of the Garden, all prepared by leading chefs from the Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group<\/a>‘s acclaimed restaurants.<\/p>\n

NYBG provides a family-friendly fine dining experience in the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden<\/a>, the future center of the Edible Academy<\/a> and the perfect setting for a freshly prepared, garden-to-table meal in the open-air dining pavilion. Kids ages 4 to 12 can enjoy fun and educational outdoor activities in the hub of our organic vegetable gardening program as visiting chefs from the Batali & Bastianich<\/a> restaurant group come to lead a live preparation of an exclusive tasting menu featuring healthy and delicious options. For the next Family Dinner on August 9, we welcome\u00a0Chef Mario LaPosta from Babbo Boston<\/a> and\u00a0Chef Jon Katz of Tarry Market<\/a> as they prepare a very special three-course menu. Begin with a salad of summer squash, sungold tomatoes, fiore di zucca, herbs, homemade stracciatella, and aceto manadori. Next up is a main course of Tarry Market porchetta with summer vegetables and fresh herbs alongside tri-color bean salad with Coach Farms goat ricotta and candied pistachios, and roasted heirloom and Yukon Gold potatoes with rosemary and garlic. Cap it all off with a dessert of polenta budino with berries, whipped cream, and a cherry. The last menu was a resounding success with those who joined us for dinner, and this one is bound to be equally delicious. Both red and white wine will be made available for parents!<\/p>\n

Tickets<\/a> are $85 for adults and $35 for children. Price includes the entire prix fixe dinner menu for the whole family, and access to the hands-on gardening and craft activities for kids.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
