The Orchid Show: Orchidelirium<\/a><\/em> continues\u00a0to great acclaim, along with a new season\u00a0of our popular event series of cocktail evenings with live music, Orchid Evenings<\/a>. As part of the LGBT @ NYBG outreach initiative, next Thursday, March 24 will be our next LGBT Night<\/a>. For\u00a0this special\u00a0Orchid Evening\u00a0we have partnered with the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce NY (NGLCCNY<\/a>) and\u00a0The LOFT<\/a>, The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Services Center to create a festive and welcoming space for our friends in the LGBT community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Come enjoy the thousands of orchids filling our landmark Enid A. Haupt Conservatory<\/a> alongside Brooklyn-based\u00a0DJ SpaceOnJason<\/a>, with\u00a0drinks and light bites available for purchase.\u00a0This special night\u00a0will feature live performances\u00a0by\u00a0Samba New York!<\/a>\u00a0evoking Brazil’s celebrated dance. Bring\u00a0your friends and colleagues\u00a0for the\u00a0perfect group outing.\u00a0There is no better way to admire this<\/span>\u00a0stunning exhibition in all its color and fragrance.<\/span><\/p>\n
