And while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nybg.org\/home-giant-pumpkins.php\" target=\"_self\">its entrance<\/a> was grand, its exit will be spectacular!<\/p>\n<p>Beginning Friday, October 29, world-renowned pumpkin carver, and current holder of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Guinness Book<\/a>&#8216;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guinnessworldrecords.com\/records\/natural_world\/plant_world\/largest_jack_o_lantern.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">World Record for largest jack-o&#8217;-lantern<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/special.registerguard.com\/csp\/cms\/sites\/web\/news\/cityregion\/22013428-41\/story.csp\" target=\"_blank\">Scott Cully<\/a> will be at the Botanical Garden to carve the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nybg.org\/blogs\/plant-talk\/2010\/10\/garden-programming\/worlds-heaviest-pumpkin-at-the-new-york-botanical-garden\/\" target=\"_self\">1,810.5 lbs beauty<\/a>. The carving, which will take approximately one hour per 100 lbs. will continue through Sunday, October 31 (also known to some as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nybg.org\/home_halloween.php\" target=\"_self\">Halloween<\/a>!).<\/p>\n<p>What will the pumpkin end up looking like, and will Cully break his own World Record? Only time will tell. But we do love daydreaming here at the Garden. So to get your imagination going about what the great pumpkin might end up looking like, we thought we&#8217;d share a few pictures of Cully&#8217;s past creations.<\/p>\n<p><div
