Thallus thin corticolous, uniform, continuous to occasionally minutely cracked, thinly corticate, mostly smooth and slightly shiny, pale glaucescent-green, K-, P-. Ascomata long and slender, mostly unbranched to 2.5 mm long, and sporadically irregularly kinked to repeatedly short-sinuous to quite short (0.2 mm) and several branched, sometimes vaguely asteriform, immersed about ½ its height in bark and then covered by medulla and cortex , only apices narrowly exposed between very slightly raised broad thalline margins about 0.16 wide (margin edge to margin edge). Exciple entire, carbonized throughout, closed below, hymenium taller than wide, not inspersed, paraphyses narrow, about 1.5u, eseptate, nonbranching, conglutinate; spores 8/ascus, 4 locular (to 6? - only one deformed looking one seen), 4-7x10-21µ.
