Graphidaceae of Central French Guiana

Thallus corticolous, thin, uniform, flat, smooth and continuous to occasionally longitudinally cracked, corticate, shining, green, K+ yellowish tinged reddish, P-. Lirellae widely scattered, sessile to emergent on rather thick black carbonized exciple, continuous below only, laterally pale; thalline margins ringed by narrowly exposed white labia, thinly corticate, lirellae up to and occasionally exceeding 1 cm long, irregularly dichotomously branching and unevenly slightly curving, apically acuminate, disk more or less evenly widely exposed (.3 mm throughout) and brownish pruinose. Hymenium much inspersed and appearing yellowish, trapezoidal to fan-shaped in cross section, with the much narrowed portion below, I+ blue. Paraphyses simple. Spores 8/ascus, oblong to slightly constricted medially, 6-8 locular 10x 30µ, I-, brownish.
