Recently descovered under Quercus insignis in the Las Tablas Protected Zone. Characteristics include the dull brown pileus surface contrasting markedly with the bright white lamellae and stipe. Also, there is a copious and conspicuous white mycelium in the substrate surrounding the basidiomata. The taste is extremely bitter.
