Community Seed Saving Session

9:30 – 11:30 a.m.

On Saturday, December 2 from 9:30–11:30 a.m., join an informal community seed saving session with local seed-keepers and members of the Bronx Community Farm Hubs! Participants will be invited to process and take home seeds from plants grown and harvested during NYBG’s 2023 African American Garden: The Caribbean Experience installation.

This event will take place at the Edible Academy Greenhouse with support from Bronx Green-Up. Please arrive at NYBG’s Mosholu Entrance (2950 Southern Blvd.) between 9:30 and 9:45 a.m. for transportation to the Edible Academy. The Edible Academy greenhouse is wheelchair-accessible, and there is seating available.
