Sometimes called Entoloma salmoneum in the NE USA, this bright orange mushroom is rather rare in Costa Rica. The slender stature, orange colors, and conic pileus are distinctive. Microscopically, the presence of cheilocystidia and cuboid spores are additional characters of significance similar to Nolanea murraii.
