Aureoboletus flaviporus (Earle) Klofac

This taxon is known from western North America (coastal California, USA in particular) where it has a viscid, reddish brown pileus, viscid stipe (when wet) and bright yellow hymenophore. Eastern North American counterparts are Aureoboletus innixus and Aureoboletus auriporus; the latter is also found in neotropical montane oak forests.
