The Bog Brook Cove Preserve is located in far Downeast Maine and is one of the first places in the United States to see the sunrise. The 1,770 acre preserve is in the heart of Maine's Bold Coast, located about half way between the towns of Cutler and Lubec and facing Grand Manan Channel in the Bay of Fundy. Across the Bay, to the east is Grand Manan Island and beyond that lies the peninsula of Nova Scotia, Canada.
