It seems logical for raindrops to be caught in the frilly edges of a crape-myrtle blossom, but the variegated textures of ornamental grasses can capture them, too.

Super pictures – I’m half expecting the drop on the grass leaf to roll off! I’ll have to try the ‘blur banding’ on my own gardenia pictures – it creates a real depth of field to the images.
