Ugly Weather, Beautiful Flowers

Rainy Spring Morning
After a beautiful week of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s, the weather in the Bronx has gotten pretty ugly. But that doesn’t mean the beautiful specimens at the Garden have, too.

On the contrary, the tulip bed by the Moshulu Gate entrance is beginning to bud and the beautiful cherry blossoms are in their final throws of gorgeous pink and white blooms.

The rain was most welcome, but we’re all eager to get back to some sunshine. Luckily, that’s just what the weatherman says is on its way.
