For Members

Members receive free admission to The Orchid Show but tickets are required. The quantity of free tickets is determined by the level of Membership. Tickets can be retrieved in advance online or at any ticket booth upon arrival.

Member Days

Saturday, March 12; 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
Sunday, April 10; 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

On these two days Members will receive:

  • Free parking with active Member ID
  • 20% off all purchases at NYBG Shop
  • 10% off Garden dining
  • Up to four half-price tickets for friends and family

Bring Your Guests

Guest passes are accepted for The Orchid Show with valid Member ID during normal Garden hours. They are not accepted for Orchid Evenings or select premium events.

Roaming Orchid Guides

Garden guides highlight parts of the permanent collection and special exhibition to add insight to your experience of The Orchid Show. They will provide an in-depth look at rare and extraordinary orchid specimens on display.

Book Signing: The Rooftop Growing Guide by Annie Novak

Enjoy an intimate conversation, Q&A, and light refreshments with the Garden's own Annie Novak as she discusses the journey of writing her new book, The Rooftop Growing Guide: How to Transform Your Roof into a Garden or Farm. Annie is the Manager of the Edible Academy at NYBG; founder and director of Growing Chefs, a field-to-fork food education program; and co-founder and head farmer of Eagle Street Rooftop Farm in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Copies of the book will be available for purchase courtesy of NYBG Shop.

Join us for a discussion of some of the easiest orchids to grow in your home. Discover the best varieties to grow and learn basic maintenance routines so that your orchids thrive and flower for years.

Parul Shah Dance Company

Parul Shah's work builds on the dance form's mythological storytelling roots to explore universal narratives, using a rich movement vocabulary that communicates the dynamic and often paradoxical nature of modern life. While preserving the emotive quality unique to Indian classical dance, Shah tells her own stories that foster understanding, empathy, and relationships between audience and performer.
