Saturdays (in-person), January 24 & 31, February 7; 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Are you excited to learn how to care for woody plants? The Bronx Green-Up Pruning Certificate Course is designed to teach participants the art of pruning small trees and shrubs, with a special focus on fruit-bearing trees. This hands-on course is perfect for anyone who is interested in stewarding trees and shrubs in a community garden setting.
To get certified, you must:
- Attend all 4 virtual workshops
- Complete 6 hours of hands-on pruning practice
Priority enrollment is given to Bronx community gardeners, farmers, and educators. All are welcome to apply if space permits.
