The annual NYBG Farmers Market season is here with fresh local food and a CSA pick-up! Visit and enjoy a variety of locally grown produce, fresh baked goods, and other specialty items to celebrate Van Gogh’s Flowers. Curated by Market Director Pascale Le Draoulec, the NYBG Farmers Market boasts 20 rotating vendors each week with two featured farms: Fino Farms and Sub Edge Farms. This year, Sub Edge is providing an 18-week CSA package available for sign-up below. Make your weekly produce shopping a delightful experience with local fare and live music. Learn more below!

Research Showcase: Young Women’s Leadership School of Manhattan
August 6; 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meet representatives from the Young Women’s Leadership School of Manhattan as they share their findings from the Urban Ecology Summer Research Program at NYBG! This research program engages high school and undergraduate students in hands-on environmental projects. Students will showcase four original projects rooted in urban sustainability and ecological research.

Meet & Greet: Climate Week Edition
September 24; 12 to 3 p.m.
Meet & Greet with members of NYBG Science, Bronx Green-Up, the Library, and Herbarium to learn about their work to protect biodiversity and develop nature-based solutions to climate change. Enjoy demonstrations by participating organizations NYC Bird Alliance and Big Reuse.

BronxWorks: Climate Justice Fellowship
October 8; 12 to 3 p.m.
Meet Program Coordinator Precious Butler and learn about the Climate Justice Fellowship Program offered by BronxWorks. BronxWorks is a community-based organization founded in 1972, operating with a mission to improve the economic and social well-being of individuals and families in the Bronx. With 60 locations in the Bronx, BronxWorks provides a broad spectrum of services to residents of all ages.
