9/11 20th Anniversary Commemoration

Saturday, September 11, 2021

11 a.m. & 12 p.m.

As we mark the 20th anniversary of September 11, we’re joined by poet Emily Sernaker for a reading of selected poetry at NYBG’s Memorial Tree—a White Oak planted in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden on the first anniversary of 9/11 to commemorate Bronx residents and workers who were lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor their families, friends, and all New Yorkers.
