11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Offsite

Drew Gardens
1070 E. Tremont Ave.
Bronx, NY

Join Dr. Aaron Sexton (Cornell University) and Bronx Green-Up to learn about wild cavity-nesting bees and how to build nests for them. Aaron will provide background on the ecology and biology of these wild cavity-nesting bees and their importance in urban areas.

We’ll walk through, step-by-step, how to build a nest, and raffle off a couple of pre-built nests. Come learn about the native pollinators in your neighborhood, how you can get involved in future research efforts, and how your garden can be part of future research efforts!
