How are community gardeners in the South Bronx building spaces for healing and education while leading the fight against toxic industries? Learn more about environmental justice organizing in Mott Haven and Port Morris as we visit community gardens and industrial sites on a 4-mile bus and bike tour. If you’re joining by bike, please remember to bring your helmet!

Can’t make it to the tour, but want to join the community gathering afterwards? Listen to speakers and enjoy lunch by B-Blossom Catering at Friends of Brook Park Community Garden (494 East 141st Street) from 2 to 3 p.m.

• 10:45 a.m. – Check-in at 128 Lincoln Avenue
• 11 a.m. – Tour begins at 128 Lincoln Avenue
• 12 p.m. – Visit Semilla Pocket Park
• 12:30 p.m. – Visit Waste Management
• 1 p.m. – Visit the 132nd Street Pier
• 1:30 p.m. – Visit Bruckner Mott-Haven Garden
• 2 p.m. – Community gathering and meal at Brook Park Community Garden
• 3 p.m. – Closing
