Bronx Green-Up Pruning Certificate Course

Thursdays (virtual), January 23 & 30, February 16 & 13; 6–8 p.m.
Saturdays (in-person), January 25 and February 1, 8, 15; 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Application deadline is January 9, 2025.

Are you ready to enhance your gardening skills and transform your garden into a healthy, thriving space? The Bronx Green-Up Pruning Certificate course is designed to teach participants the art of proper pruning techniques for small trees and shrubs, with a special focus on fruit-bearing trees. This hands-on course is perfect for anyone looking to keep their garden vibrant and flourishing!

To get certified, you must:

Attend four virtual classes on Thursday evenings: January 23 & 30, February 6 & 13
Join four in-person lessons at community gardens: Saturdays (in-person), January 25 and February 1, 8, 15
Complete six hours of pruning practice at a Bronx Green-Up community garden (dates and times to be announced).

Application Deadline: January 9, 2025

*Priority enrollment is given to Bronx community gardeners, but all are welcome to apply if space permits.
