Composting as Resilience: Community Composting for our Collective Future

Get Crazy for Composting with NYBG’s Bronx Green-Up and friends! Join us for our annual compost mini-conference at the New York Botanical Garden, where compost enthusiasts, environmental advocates, and community leaders come together to celebrate and explore the power of community composting. This year’s theme, “Composting as Resilience: Community Composting for Our Collective Future,” will highlight how local composting efforts build stronger, more sustainable communities in the face of climate change and environmental injustice.

This year’s conference will feature:

- Information tables from local environmental organizations
- Presentations from community composting leaders
- Two sessions of hands-on compost workshops
- Raffles and giveaways
- Opportunities to connect, learn, and grow with other composters
