Growing Cold Hardy Fruits and Nuts
Tuesday, March 7
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Expand your plant palette by adding low-maintenance fruiting plants that thrive in cold-temperature growing regions-from Arctic kiwi to jujube, medlar to heartnut. Allyson Levy and Scott Serrano, the co-directors of the Hudson Valley’s Hortus Arboretum, will highlight a wide variety of productive, edible crops that have few pest and disease problems and are appropriate for farmers, gardeners, and landscapers at every scale.
