Harlem Grown Storytime
& Book Signing

Join us for a special storytime featuring local author Tony Hillery at the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden. He’ll be reading his book Harlem Grown in the Swamp Oak Story Spot and sharing seed packets with young listeners to take home, followed by a book signing at the Discovery Center.

You can explore Harlem Grown—a children’s book about a community garden started with schoolchildren in an empty Harlem lot—on your own during this summer’s Story Walk, taking you through the collection as you follow the story.
