LEGO® Botanical Garden Pop-Up
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. | Tulip Tree Allée
Step into a vibrant flower truck blooming with the LEGO® Botanicals collection. Make a creation to take home, including a brick-built rose, a floral heart, or a mini Vincent van Gogh sunflower. This activation is first-come, first-served and while supplies last.

Inspiration Stations
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Mosholu & Main Entrances
“I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough?” Van Gogh reflects on his love for nature in his letter to his brother, Theo. Pick up a complimentary pencil set and paper canvas before seeking out inspiration from our 250-acre landscape.

The Artist at Work: Carlos Wilfredo Encarnación

Watch an artist at work in an open-air studio! Professional artist Carlos Wilfredo Encarnación creates a work before your eyes over the course of the weekend. Observe how Encarnación seeks inspiration from the natural world that inspired Vincent van Gogh.

Plein Air Drop-In & Paint
12 to 3 p.m. | Perennial Garden
Drop in and paint the Perennial Garden with guided instruction by our visiting teaching artist, Lindsay Robbins. Take a piece of art home with you inspired by NYBG’s living collections. This activation is first-come, first-served and while supplies last.

Azalea Garden Tour
2 to 3 p.m. | Azalea Garden
Join us for a guided tour of the 11-acre site that offers an encyclopedic collection of the world’s azaleas planted along a broad hillside punctuated by rock outcrops and shaded by mature native trees.
