The New York Botanical Garden will host one of the most spectacular events of the winter season, The Orchid Dinner, at the Plaza Hotel on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Known for its unique and carefully curated display of floral artistry, this year’s event will celebrate NYBG’s beloved The Orchid Show. Which will be experienced through the eyes of Mr. Flower Fantastic, a visionary designer and New York native, known for blending floristry with pop art, street culture and fine art, he will transform NYBG’s Enid A. Haupt Conservatory into a breathtaking orchid tribute to the spirit, style and skyline of our beloved metropolis, N.Y.C.
Guests are invited to enjoy cocktails and a sale of rare orchids carefully curated by NYBG horticulturalists, followed by an elegant dinner and dancing.
Proceeds from The Orchid Dinner supports NYBG’s dedication to applying our expertise and collections to elevate the role of plants in solving the biodiversity crises – leading the way towards a better future for all.
