With more than 7.8 million preserved specimens, the William and Lynda Steere Herbarium is the second largest herbarium in the world and the largest in the Western Hemisphere. This special exhibition in the Ross Gallery celebrates the Steere Herbarium as the centerpiece of the Garden’s botanical research program, and a priceless resource for scholars from around the world. In this tour, learn some of the many ways that Garden scientists are working to study and save the plants of the world.
