Horticultural Therapy Summer Intensive Classes
Fast-track your horticultural therapy skills.
The Horticultural Therapy Certificate Program at NYBG offers the most in-depth training in the New York City area. Taught by practicing horticultural therapists, this program will train you to design, implement, and manage programs that use plants and the natural environment to heal a broad range of people in need.
With our summer intensive schedule, students can dive deeply in a limited amount of time. Take just one class or immerse yourself in all nine required horticultural therapy courses in just three months.
You’ll also have the opportunity to get a close-up look at the day-to-day practices of local horticultural therapy programs at NYU Langone Medical Center, the Hort Society of New York’s Greenhouse Program on Rikers Island, or Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
