Tickets to the Holiday Train Show is included with an All-Garden Pass. Advance reservations are strongly recommended as tickets do sell out.

  4. The Holiday Train Show® takes place in a special exhibition space adjacent to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, which is accessed with timed entry tickets.

    Get your tickets online before you visit for guaranteed access to the exhibition. Select the free mobile ticket option or bring your printed tickets with you to skip the line at the entry gate when you arrive. Members, bring your Member card and parking pass. Bar Car Nights and All Aboard with Thomas & Friends™ require separate tickets. View our calendar for daily hours of operation and program schedules.

    Special events, lectures, and Adult Education classes require separate fees. Advance reservations are strongly recommended as these events do sell out.

Hours & Getting to the Garden

  1. Daytime All-Garden Pass access to the Holiday Train Show® is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.

    Bar Car Nights: 7–10:30 p.m. November 23, 29, 30; December 7, 14, 20, 21, 27 & 28, 2019; January 3, 4, 11 & 18, 2020

    Extended Hours: 10 a.m.–7 p.m. December 26 & 29

    Monday Openings: December 16, 23, & 30; January 20

    Early Closures: December 6 (Conservatory and Holiday Train Show® close at 2 p.m.); December 13 & 24 (NYBG closes at 3 p.m.)

    Closures: November 28 (Thanksgiving) and December 25 (Christmas)

  2. The Garden is located at 2900 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY 10458 and is off the Bronx River Parkway at Fordham Road (Exit 7W). We recommend using public transportation; NYBG is easily accessible via Metro-North Railroad and by subway. Find complete directions at nybg.org/directions.

  3. Enter via the Main Entrance at 2900 Southern Boulevard for onsite parking. During peak visitation times, offsite parking at NYBG’s Parking Garage (401 Bedford Park Boulevard) or elsewhere may be used if our on-site lot is full. Please follow the signage and note the NYBG staff members directing traffic on peak visitation days.
