Summary of Responsibilities:
The Postdoctoral Research position is available for one year to help develop, maintain, and promote the Plant Ontology.
· Research plant development and plant anatomy/morphology terminology.
· Edit the Plant Ontology using specialized ontology editing software.
· Maintain web and wiki pages.
· Conduct outreach to promote the Plant Ontology through presentations at national meetings.
· Interact with national and international collaborators.
Requirements:
· Ph.D. in Biology, Plant Biology, or related field.
· Background experience and expertise in plant anatomy, morphology, or development is required, preferable with some knowledge across the land plants.
· Experience with ontology editing is desirable.
Salary commensurate with experience.
