The New York Botanical Garden is now accepting applications for all 2013 volunteer Plant Science internships.

Interns participate in cutting-edge research in systematic botany, molecular phylogenetics, structural botany, genomics, bioinformatics, geographic information systems, and economic botany. Internships offer a taste of the culture of plant research, allow students to explore their interests in science, and provide excellent educational experiences to include in resumes.

Internship dates and schedules are flexible, but a 3-month commitment is preferred. Please note that this internship is unpaid.

When applying, please include what term(s) you are available:

  • Spring 2013: 01/21/2013 – 04/26/2012
  • Summer 2013: 06/10/2013 – 08/16/2013
  • Fall 2013: 09/17/2013 – 12/13/2013
