CONTINUING EDUCATION INSTRUCTORS WANTED

 

The New York Botanical Garden, a National Historic Landmark and one of New York City's premier cultural institutions is looking to hire qualified Continuing Education Instructors to teach classes in their respective field of expertise. The Department offers Continuing Education Programs at the main campus in the Bronx and at satellite sites including Manhattan, New Canaan, and Greenwich.

 

Areas of Instruction:

  • Landscape Design
  • Horticulture
  • Horticultural Therapy
  • Gardening
  • Floral Design
  • Botanical Art and Illustration
  • Botany

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Prior teaching experience
  • Significant professional experience in their field of expertise
  • Outgoing with excellent communication skills
  • Available to teach either weekdays, evenings or weekends
