Enjoy peace of mind with the new Flex ticket to the Holiday Train Show^®. This option allows you to arrive at any time before 4:30 p.m. on your selected date without reserving a specific 15-minute time slot. Even if timed-entry tickets are sold out, your entry is guaranteed.

Flex tickets are available for Adult and Child tickets on both peak and off-peak dates.
Flex tickets are an additional $10.
Members and Patrons can purchase Flex tickets for $10 each.

Note: Flex tickets do not include skip-the-line access. Entry is not guaranteed for visitors without tickets or those who arrive fewer than 45 minutes before closing.

The Holiday Train Show^® takes place in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, which is accessed with timed entry tickets. Although these tickets are sold in 15-minute increments, you may spend as much time enjoying the exhibition as you wish. If you would like the peace of mind to attend at any time on your selected date, consider choosing a Flex Ticket instead.

Get your tickets online before you visit for guaranteed access to the exhibition. Members, bring your Member Card and parking pass with your tickets.

Holiday Train Nights require separate tickets which will be made available to the public starting October 22, 2024.

The New York Botanical Garden is generally open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.

Know Before You Go

Garden Capacity. Holiday Train Show access is limited, so we recommend getting your tickets online in advance. Dates do sell out.

- Strollers. Strollers are allowed throughout the Garden grounds with the exception of the Haupt Conservatory, where the Holiday Train Show takes place. Stroller parking is available.

- Accessibility. Most key areas of the Garden are wheelchair accessible, including all of the Holiday Train Show. Wheelchairs are available to borrow free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis at the Visitor Center and Mosholu Entrance. An ID must be left with a Visitor Experience representative. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own mobility devices for Garden navigation. Accessible lifts are located in the Haupt Conservatory and at the entrance to the Mertz Library Building. - Travel light. NYBG does not offer bag or coat-check facilities.

Photography. You are welcome to take personal, non-flash photography. Tripods, monopods, easels, selfie sticks, and lighting equipment are not permitted in the Haupt Conservatory. Check our Visitor Guidelines for more information about photography at the Garden.

The Pine Tree Café is open with grab-and-go food and indoor and outdoor seating available. The family-friendly menu features artisanal panini, Neapolitan-style pizza, signature salads, and kid-friendly options, plus sweet treats, snacks, and a full coffee bar featuring top-notch espresso and homemade pastries.

The Hudson Garden Grill
The Hudson Garden Grill is a farm-to-table restaurant spotlighting the innovative flavors of New American cuisine. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended on opentable.com.
